How can I be sure that the landlord is above board?
We are a travel portal rather than a bookings agency. Notwithstanding the experience we have in the travel industry, we regret that we are not able to assume any responsibility for those who advertise via our platform. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you conclude a rental agreement with the landlord of the holiday accommodation you have chosen.

How do I book holiday accommodation?
If you are interested in a particular holiday home, please contact the landlord directly. The necessary contact details (telephone, fax, e-mail) are prominently displayed in the bottom left of every advertisement website. You can also use the enquiries form to enter your specific travel details and send a booking enquiry to a landlord.

What can I do if a landlord does not respond to my booking enquiry?
Unfortunately, we do not have any influence over those who place advertisements on our site. In the event that a landlord you have contacted does not reply to a booking enquiry you have sent via the enquiry form, alternative contact details are prominently displayed in the bottom left of the homepage of every advertisement website.

Is a booking enquiry binding?
Booking enquiries are by their very nature non-binding and serve the purpose of establishing initial contact with landlords in order to inform them of your required travel data and to clarify any remaining questions on the holiday home before moving on to making a binding reservation at a later stage.

How can I cancel a booking?
gooro.de enables you to make reservations with landlords directly and to negotiate your booking and the rental conditions with them. If you wish to cancel accommodation which you have booked, please contact the relevant landlord directly.

Can you provide me with a rental agreement?
We have made a sample tenancy agreement available free of charge to landlords in the landlords' section of our portal. When booking your required accommodation, simply ask your landlord about this.

How can I find better value accommodation?
We have set up a separate category for particularly good value holiday accommodation ("Low Budget"). You can obtain an overview of all the accommodation allocated to this category by selecting the "Low Budget" rubric under the menu item "Special" (www.gooro.de/spezieles.php). The special offers page is another way of finding good value accommodation. This is easily accessible from the main navigation bar via the menu item "Special offers".

How do I find holiday accommodation which still has vacancies for specific travel dates?
Our homepage (http://www.gooro.de) enables you to conduct searches using special criteria, including dates. Clicking on "Dates" will take you to a search form where you can state your date of arrival and departure, the type of accommodation required and/or catering services and the number of persons. Click on "Search" to obtain a list of all holiday accommodation meeting the search criteria you have entered.

How can I search for a specific property?
If you wish to find a certain advertisement directly, all you need to do is make a note of the Internet address which we assign to landlords. These mostly comprise a name which has been chosen by the landlord followed by "gooro.de". This means that you only need to remember a name rather than a series of numbers. Once you have entered the correct address into your browser, simply use the main navigation bar to find the required advertisement.

How do I find holiday accommodation at a specific travel destination?
There are two ways of displaying all accommodation for a specific travel destination:

1) By using the search field on the homepage

A search field is prominently displayed on our homepage (http://www.gooro.de) in which you can enter your required travel destination to obtain a list of all holiday accommodation located at this destination.

2) Via the holiday regions page

The homepage enables you to conduct a search using specific criteria, including holiday regions. Clicking on "Holiday regions" will take you to a page where you can select the holiday regions you are looking for from a map of Europe or from a list. You are offered an initial choice of country. In the case of France, Italy and Spain, you may then proceed to select regions. In the case of Germany, you may select not only federal states but also individual districts.

To obtain a list of accommodation designated as skiing accommodation, please proceed via "Special indexes" on the homepage and click on the "Ski & snow" link.

To obtain a list of all holiday homes in the vicinity of a golf course, please proceed via "Special indexes" on the homepage and click on the "Golf (Golfing holiday)" link. To obtain a list of all accommodation near golf courses, please click on the "Golfing holiday" link in the left-hand menu. This will take you directly to our special index for golfing accommodation.

Can you provide me with further information on a holiday home?
All advertisements on gooro.de are created and maintained by the landlords themselves. Further information is therefore available from the relevant landlords rather than from us, and you should contact the landlords directly if you have any issues requiring clarification. The necessary contact details are prominently displayed in the bottom left of every advertisement website.

Can you send me a holiday accommodation catalogue?
We are an online portal and do not publish paper catalogues. To find the accommodation you require, please use the wide range of search opportunities provided on gooro.de. You can also put together your own personal catalogue by placing advertisements you are interested on your watch list. These are always located on the right-hand edge of the search result pages. If you wish to receive regular information on special and last minute offers, register for our newsletter! To do so, simply click on "Newsletter" in the navigation bar at the top of the homepage (next to the flags), enter your e-mail address and send. We will then provide you with all the latest information free of charge.

No, unfortunately not. We are a travel portal rather than a bookings agency. Once you have identified the holiday home you want using our wide range of search opportunities, simply contact the relevant landlord directly. Do you pass on may data to third parties?
We cannot pass on information to third parties without your personal agreement. In the absence of any such agreement, we will not pass any information on.

What happens to the data I enter on your site?
When you subscribe to our newsletter, only your e-mail address will be stored in our system, enabling us to keep you updated on a regular basis. Your e-mail address will be stored exclusively for this purpose, and gooro.de will not pass on your e-mail address to third parties or use it for other purposes related to the operation of gooro.de.
